Babes and Blankets

Babes and Blankets provides a place of community and relaxation for Scripps students, through gathering on a weekly basis to knit and crochet. Babes and Blankets intends to share the skill of crocheting and knitting by teaching new members. We also enjoy movies and snacks together. Babes donates projects to charitable organizations.
We meet once a week for about 2 hours. At the meetings, we knit and crochet items for donation. We also teach people how to knit or crochet; we have supplies for them to borrow so that they can learn. It is a great stress reliever for the Scripps community, and helps out the local community by providing knitted goods. |
