Junior Class Co-Presidents

Office Hours:
​Wednesday 7:00-8:00 pm in the Student Union
Placement: Voting members of SAS Board 
Responsibilities:
  • Plans and executes at least 3 events each semester that are class-specific. Including letter writing to Juniors abroad.
  • Assists Board members as well as other class presidents with their events
  • Holds office hours for at least one hour a week
  • Help incoming senior class presidents form a committee for the following semester at the end of the year. Specifically focus on speaker selection.
  • Attends and coordinates meetings with 5C presidents at least twice a semester
  • Plans and executes at least 1 intercollegiate event with 5C class presidents
  • The Junior Class President is a duo position to accommodate juniors who wish to study abroad. One co-president assumes the position in the Fall, the other takes over in the spring. Juniors wishing to run for Class Co-President must plan to switch, even in the case that one or both do not go abroad. ​Mekala is the serving Junior class president in the Fall 2025 semester.
