The SAS office is located in the Student Union.

Office Hours: ​
​Mondays 6:30-8:30 pm in the Student Union
Responsibilities:
  • Chairs the SAS board
  • Reports to the student body through various means
  • Responds to the needs of students by communicating student questions and concerns to SAS and the administration
  • Motivates SAS members to maximize their individual and collective contributions through individual meetings
  • Meets at least once a semester with student government presidents of the other four colleges
  • Acts as a student representative on the Board of Trustees Student Affairs Committee and Alumnae Leadership Council and works to plan events to bring BOT members and students together
  • Ensures that BOT student reps communicate well with the student body before and after BOT meetings
  • Meets bi-weekly with Dean of Students and monthly with the College President and with other Scripps College faculty and staff as needed
  • Holds office hours for at least two hours a week
  • Sends emails to the student body to keep them updated on announcements and meeting highlights
