SAS Programming Committee

SAS Programming Committee (PC) is comprised of a group of students that are appointed via an application process every fall, and is led by the Vice President of Student Activities (VPSA), with the support of the 5C Events Chair and the Student Organizations Commissioner. Individuals are in charge of providing programming support to SAS events, such as Eurobash and Spring Fling, and will also program their own events throughout both the fall and spring semesters.
Programming Committee applications will open in late September. Please check back then for more information.

For more information about Programming Committee, please email SAS VPSA Simran Sethi at [email protected].

There are also Programming Committees for the First-Year Class and Scripps 1C Events.
First-Year Programming Committee
  • Committee consists of between 8-10 people, excluding the first-year class president.
  • The First-Year Committee will assist the president in executing events, actively promoting events, creating content for the first-year class Instagram account, and gathering feedback from first-years.
  • The committee will meet at least every 2 weeks.
1C Programming Committee
  • The 1C events committee is chaired by the Student Organization Commissioner
  • This committee consists of no more than 4 student representatives and the VPSA
  • The SOC must review and select applicants in the beginning of the fall semester
  • This committee is meant to support the SOC with SAS snacks and general events throughout the semester.
