SAS Senate is composed of students that are appointed via an application process every fall. Representatives are confirmed and are subject to the approval of 2/3 of the SAS Board. The Senate is led by the Executive Vice President and hosts BeHeard Forums throughout the year.
During the 2023-2024 year, the SAS Senate will continue various projects and brainstorm new initiatives. We will be continuing the Wellness Vending Machine project in collaboration with Scripps Advocates. We also be creating a large-scale resource map in the form of a large poster and brochures, and revamping the Student Union in collaboration with the Community Building Chair and Students Organizations Commissioner!
