Scripps Pre-Law Society (SPLS)
Scripps Pre-Law Society was founded for the purpose of improving our undergraduate comprehension of the study and practice of law; and creating a connective space for students interested in law school or corresponding graduate studies and jobs. Furthermore, SPLS strives to assemble and manage networking opportunities with other potential future lawyers, alumnae in the field, and the broader legal community.
Anyone who is interested in law is welcomed. General meetings are once a month, but officers meet every two weeks. The meeting goals are to have a discussion about potential legal activities and events for SPLS members. Please note that while all students are welcomed, our most popular concentrations include: Psychology, Political Science, and Legal Studies. [We host] Alumnae panels and mentorship, collaboration with Claremont legal organizations and individuals, LSAT courses, the 5C Small Claims Advisory Service (SCAS), etc. |
