Student Union Reservation

Responsibilities

• Maintains the upkeep of the Student union 
  • Reports any issues to maintenance
  • Make sure the space is being used accordingly by Scripps students + 5C groups + students 
    • Regulating posters, making sure things are put away
    • Managing books
  • Keeps track of the locker system reservations + clean outs
    • Prioritize off-campus Scripps residents + Post-bac students 
  • Supplies the craft corner + conference rooms as needed   
• Manages Projects associated with the student union 
  • Checks in on Free Closet w/ sustainability committee
  • Memory keeping of student activism in the space (memory keeping)
  • Maintains Free Menstrual products (in student union + dorms)
    • Submitting a formal proposal with Advocates for menstrual product funding 
  • Helps maintain Student art in the space  
• Host at least two events per semester in the student union geared at creating community 
  • For example, study nights or movie nights 
• Serve as a liaison towards student ResLife and Office of Student Engagement (OSE) staff (RCs and CCs) to create dorm/SAS relationships.
• Helps SOC as needed 
• Holds office hours for at least one hour a week
