Placement: Voting member of the SAS Board
Responsibilities: ● Organizes SAS Sunday Snack, which must take place once a week in an accessible location on campus, preferably in Seal Court or Student Union. ● At least one CLORG or office must host Snack, whose budget can contribute to the cost of food - should be split 50/50. ● Plans 3+ activities for the Scripps community and assists other students or CLORGs in planning campus-wide events. ● Plans Valentine’s Day hearts ● Plans and executes at least one 1C formal event at Scripps per semester ● Coordinates with CLORG members to assist with snack duties as delegated ● Works closely with the Diversity and Inclusivity Chair to bring the voices of underrepresented groups to SAS, potentially through frequent collaborations with affinity groups for Scripps events and providing cultural foods for SAS Snack. ● Collaborate as needed with 5C Events Chairs for one or more small scale 1C/1C plus guest event per year as needed/if feasible. ● Evenly split responsibilities between co-chairs. ● Chair the 1c committee and select new membership as needed.
